Different Recipies with Turmeric:

1. Turmeric, Ginger and Carrot Soup

We wish for a steaming bowl of comforting and healing soup on chilly days. It is perfect for those foggy days. It will give you a warm feeling and nutrition to fight seasonal diseases. Here we are going to learn a nourishing soup of turmeric, carrots, garlic, onions, and curry powder.


  • Coconut Oil:         2 tbs
  • Yellow Onion:       1 medium, diced
  • Garlic Cloves:       2, minced
  • Grated Ginger:      1tbs   
  • Turmeric:              1tbs
  • Curry Powder:      1tbs
  • Carrots:                 3 cups diced
  • Sweet Potato:      1 cup, diced, unpeeled
  • Vegetable broth:   4 cups
  • Coconut Milk:       1 cup, canned
  • Salt:                      1 1/2 tbs


  • Keep the large pot on medium flame, and heat the oil
  • Add onion and garlic
  • Saute for 10 mins while stirring frequently
  • Add ginger, turmeric, and curry powder and saute for 2-3 minutes more
  • Add carrots, sweet potatoes, and broth
  • Bring it to a simmer
  • Top the pot with a lid leaving space for steam release.
  • Simmer for 20 mins and cool for 5 mins
  • Blend the mixture of carrot-sweet potato mixture till a smooth mixture
  • Pour into pot, add coconut milk and salt, and enjoy.

2. Turmeric-Pineapple juice


  • Pineapple: 1/2 medium, coarsely chopped
  • Golden beets: 2, medium, peeled, and coarsely chopped
  • Fresh Turmeric: 3 tbs coarsely chopped
  • Fresh Ginger: 3 tbs coarsely chopped
  • Caroot: 5 large, finely chopped
  • orange: 4 peeled
  • Lemon Juice: 2tbs
  • Water:1 cup(if blending)


  • Mix processed pineapple, beets, turmeric, ginger, carrots, and oranges in a juicer.
  • Transfer into a glass,
  • Add lemon juice and serve.

For the blending process:

  • Blend pineapple, beets, turmeric, ginger, carrots, oranges, lemon juice, and water in a high-speed blender.
  • Blend till smooth
  • Pour all the mixture through a nut-milk-straining bag over a large bowl.
  • Squeeze the contents with your hands.
  • Pour into glass and serve.

3. Crispy-bottomed Yellow Rice

Ingredients(for 4 servings):

  • Chicken Soup: 2 cup
  • Saffron Thread: 2 pinches
  • Ground Turmeric: 1 1/2
  • Golden Raisins: 1/4 cup(about a handful)
  • Butter: 1tbs
  • Rice: 1 cup
  • Dry Marcona Almonds: 1/4 cup for garnish


  • Keep a Medium-sized non-stick pan on the flame 
  • Bring the chicken stock, saffron, turmerics, raisins, and butter up to a bubble
  • Add rice to the pot
  • Reduce heat to low and cover.
  • Cook for 15 mins stirring occasionally
  • Increase the flame to medium 
  • Remove the lid
  • Cook until the bottom is light golden brown and crispy about 5 mins.
  • Serve the rice garnished with Marcona almonds.

4. Turmeric Latte


  • Unsweetened Vanilla milk, or coconut milk: 1 cup
  • Turmeric: 1/2 tbs
  • Cinnamon: 1/3 tbs
  • Cayenne: A dash
  • Coconut Oil: 2tbs
  • Maple Syrup or coconut sugar(optional): 1tbs


  • Blend all the ingredients in a blender on medium
  • Pour into saucepan
  • Heat for 2-4 minutes
