Take a blend of black peppercorn, lemon verbena leaves, crushed ginger, and water. After boiling all the ingredients for 10 minutes keep aside and stir turmeric and add honey to it. Serve with ice and enjoy.

Ginger Tulsi Turmeric Iced Tea:
The same ingredients and the same method of Ginger Verbena Turmeric Iced Tea are repeated. Only replace lemon verbena leaves with tulsi leaves and another mouth-watering Turmeric variation is ready.

Turmeric Tea Recipe:

Be careful while using Turmeric as it leaves stains.

Ingredients:

  • Water: One glass
  • Honey: 1/3 cup or 80ml or Raw unrefined sugar: 1 or 1/2 tablespoon
  • Turmeric: 2 1/2 teaspoon
  • Lemon or lemon leaves
  • Black pepper: 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • Ginger: 1/2teaspoon freshly grated ginger
  • Cinnamon: 1/8 teaspoon ground Ceylon cinnamon

Instructions:

  1. Add water to a small pot
  2. Add black pepper, lemon juice, and cinnamon with ginger
  3. Whisk together and heat them
  4. Turn the heat down to low. and simmer for some 10 minutes.
  5. When the tea stops simmering, mix the honey and keep it cool for 1 or 2 minutes.
  6. Now mix Turmeric into it.
  7. Pour the tea through the strainer and enjoy the hot tea.

Helpful Tips To Enhance The Taste of Turmeric Tea:

Avoid sediments from your tea if you don’t like it, in spite of it you can choose cheesecloth or pepper bag for easy staining. You have the option to prepare your teabags in advance so you have to only add into boiling water.

For better flavour use filter water. Try to use water on the cold side as it is less contaminated in comparison to the hot side. Do not try to boil for long, because it can break down the curcumin.
